Description
Hastelloy C22 (UNS N06022, W.Nr.2.4602) is a high-performance nickel base corrosion resistant alloy. It combines excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Thanks to balanced Cr, Mo and W composition, it performs well in environments containing chloride, oxidizing acids and mixed corrosive fluids.
It can withstand complex corrosive conditions in chemical processing, flue gas desulfurization, waste water treatment, pharmaceutical production and oil & gas fields. Available forms include wire, sheet, plate, bar, pipe and forging parts. It features good fabricability and weldability, suitable for manufacturing reactors, heat exchangers, scrubbers and pressure vessels.
