High-Performance Inconel 600 Alloy Bar for Extreme Temperature & Corrosion Conditions
Zhonggongte Metallurgical supplies premium Inconel 600 alloy bar products designed for industries requiring excellent high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term material stability.
As a solid-solution nickel-chromium-iron alloy (Ni ≥ 72%), Inconel 600 provides superior resistance to oxidative and chlorinated media, making it an ideal choice for high-stress environments in chemical plants, nuclear systems, aerospace structures, and precision instrumentation.
The alloy’s thermal stability below 700°C and its strong resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking provide the performance reliability customers need in critical operations.
Core Material Introduction
1. Basic Properties of Alloys
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy (Ni≥72%, Cr14-17%, Fe6-10%) with a face-centered cubic structure and is non-magnetic. Its core advantages stem from the corrosion resistance brought by the high nickel content and the dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film formed by chromium, maintaining excellent thermal stability and plasticity below 700℃.

3. Core Advantages of Corrosion Resistance
Media resistance : Resistant to corrosion from chlorine, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride and sulfides, suitable for conditions such as vinyl chloride monomer production and uranium oxidation conversion;
Intergranular corrosion : By controlling the carbon content (≤0.15%) and grain boundary engineering (increasing the proportion of low ΣCSL grain boundaries), the chromium-depleted zone caused by M₂₃C₆ carbide precipitation can be suppressed;
Stress corrosion : It has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking from room temperature to high temperature, which is more than 5 times better than 316 stainless steel.
